Accepting these terms
By downloading, accessing, or using TOTPLY, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app. You must be legally able to enter into this agreement in your country or use TOTPLY with permission from a parent or guardian.
What TOTPLY provides
TOTPLY provides on-device tools for generating time-based one-time passwords, organizing account records, storing credentials, and accessing supported features such as widgets. Your saved app data remains locally on your device and is not stored by TOTPLY. Features may vary by device, operating system, region, or app version.
Your security responsibilities
You are responsible for securing your device, maintaining recovery codes and independent backups, and confirming that imported account details are correct. Do not rely on TOTPLY as your only recovery method. If you lose a device or delete data without a backup, access to third-party accounts may not be recoverable through TOTPLY.
Acceptable use
You may use TOTPLY only for lawful purposes and accounts you are authorized to access. You may not attempt to disrupt the app, bypass security controls, reverse engineer protected parts of the service where prohibited by law, distribute malware, or use TOTPLY to gain unauthorized access to another person’s account.
Third-party services
TOTPLY can generate codes for and store information about third-party services. Those services are independent from TOTPLY and governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Displaying a service name or logo does not imply sponsorship or endorsement.
Purchases and subscriptions
If paid features are offered, pricing, billing period, trial terms, and renewal details will be shown before purchase. Payments and refunds are handled by the app marketplace under its rules. Subscriptions renew unless cancelled through your marketplace account before the renewal date.
Ownership
TOTPLY, including its design, software, branding, and original content, is owned by TOTPLY or its licensors and protected by applicable law. These terms grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for its intended purpose.
Availability and warranties
We work to keep TOTPLY reliable, but the app is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or recovery of deleted data.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TOTPLY and its contributors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of access, credentials, data, profits, or goodwill arising from use of the app. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Termination and changes
You may stop using TOTPLY at any time. We may suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect the app, users, or legal rights. We may update these terms; continued use after an update takes effect means you accept the revised terms.
